Eveland Farm's Kitty's Arlene...(4th Generation American)

Picture
This is another one of my mom's beautiful babies born year before last.  Arlene won Reserve Champion Mini Nubian Junior Doe in Monroe, Washington this last summer.  Her dam is a real capacious good momma with ample milk.  This doeling combines those attributes with her Sire's dairy stylishness.  Caleb showed her as a dry yearling and earned her Champion Dry leg this summer.

W4's Sonora's Sedona...          (5th Generation American)

We were very blessed to have Sonora give us a doeling this year that we will retain to strengthen our program here on the farm.  She won her dry leg Championship in Boise, ID this Spring.

I really like this doe and see a lot of potential in her.  I would  describe her as very stylish.  She placed first in her yearling class last year under judge Cody Darst.  I am really interested in seeing what she will produce and how much milk she will put in the bucket for me.

William's Family Ranch April Fool Aria...
6th Generation Purebred

Picture
We were very lucky to have purchased our first 6th generation Purebred Mini Nubian doe this last Fall from the Williams Farm out of Cheney, Washington.  Aria is very special to us and has a wonderful personality.  She is in our back pocket every chance she gets,  but remains a well mannered lady as well.  Her lines go back to some of my favorite Echo Hill's stock...some of which I've wanted in my herd from some time.  Welcome to the clan pretty girl.

W'4's Princess:---(Purebred, Blue eyed, Polled)

My son, Caleb actually picked which buck he wanted to breed his own doe ("Frosty") to this year.  He picked Arnie, and this is the product of that cross.  Caleb chose to retain and show her.  He did quite well with her; winning a Jr. Doe Championship.  She was quite spoiled too when on the road this summer!  Princess will now be a first freshner this Spring 2017!

Echo Hill's Frosty---(5th Generation American)

"Frosty" is one of twins out of "Sonora."  We bought Sonora bred from Dannette Hackman from Echo Hills Farm.  Frosty and Chocolate were born on our farm as a result of that breeding.  My son adored showing Frosty and picked her to compete in Peewee Showmanship.  They have always had a special bond as Caleb named her and has worked with her.  I have to ask Caleb to catch her even; she only comes to him!  Because of her size and great temperment, she was easier for him to set up and show.  Caleb was super excited when Frosty gave him our very first WILD moonspotted doeling in which he named "Precious."  This year, Caleb has chosen Cecil, (thanks to Carol Eveland "Gamma", who owns Cecil) to match Frosty up with for the 2016 breeding season.

JMR Aloha....6th Generation Purebred Mini Nubian

This nice doeling came from Patty at Jasper Mountain Ranch out of Waitsburg.  Patty is a special lady and I'm so lucky to know her.  I absolutely love her goats.  Patty is always fair on her pricing and one of the most honest ladies in the business.  I would reccommend her to anyone.

W4's Billy Jo                                                       1st Gen 50/50

"Billy Jo"  is Beatrice (above) twin sister.  Again, her grandmother is a very decorated Nubian doe that won Best Udder and Reserve National 2005 ADGA Champion Nubian Sr. Doe.  I cannot say enough about these bloodlines.   Her Nigerian top side is definitely nothing to sneeze at either.  Billy is pictured below as a ff.  She gave me gorgeous kids this year.  The female; I will retain.  These two does are feeding kids that are almost their own size at weaning!

W4's Beatrice                                                     1st Gen 50/50

Beatrice has really impressed me as a ff this year.  Her udder is what I have been striving for.  Her shape, teat placement, and smooth foreudder are rewarding to see.  She raised a very nice set of 2nd gen girls that I plan on retaining.  Truly, her pedigree speaks for itself.  The Bayliner line is huge in the Nigerian world.  Butter me up has proven herself in the ring and on the stand.  Then, on the bottom; Sand-Bur-Kids Charice is a direct daughter of the 2005 National Reserve Champion/ Best Udder Nubian at the 2005 show.  Wow.  I'm very pleased with this foundation.  Sadly, Beatrice and her twin Billy Jo are the only offspring I got out of Loperrized BlmButterHerBiscuit ("Milo".)

Lil Lass is our only first generation doeling we were able to retain for the 2016 kidding season.  She is a dandy and has the best little personality too...just like her momma, Danny.  I am really really happy with the structure and width on this doeling.  I think she will be a good example of what I am trying to achieve in raising foundation first gens for quality future minis.

W4's Golden Nugget.............................4th Gen American

Raising goats has to be one of the most frustrating endeavors i have ever ventured into.  Winter of 2019; I lost this sweet girl...I have no reason....just walked out to do chores and she was lifeless in the middle of the pen.  Pneumonia would be my guess, but she showed no symptoms.  I was heartbroken as she showed so much potential.  Rest in Heaven Pretty girl.

This little doeling's momma is one of my favorite does.  She truly has been a mighty milker.  I had her leased to the Walker Family as an extra milker as Rachel treats me to the best chev' I've ever tasted.  As a bonus, Rachel and Spencer bred her to their new buck "Ace" they had recently purchased from Laz E Acres.  This is the product of that breeding.  I absolutely LOVE her.  This doeling probably is my favorite kid born this 2018 year.  She did very well at the WCC and won her class in all three rings.

The horrible Winter of 2019; Loretta had a stroke.  She was able to be nursed along long enough to deliver twin daughters.  Loretta will forever be missed.  She was most special.

Loretta is a doe I started out in owning.  I sold her to Brenda with Bit of Bliss Farm several years ago.  Brenda took Loretta and milked her extensively and was able to earn her milk star.  I had the opportunity to buy Loretta back and jumped at it.  She is one cool goat.  I love her personality.  I thank Brenda for showing this girl's full potential through all the hard work she did recording her milk production.

Newman Lake Patty Cake  ("Patty")........Purebred 6th gen

I really like this doe.  Patty was purchased from Laz E Acres.  She has an extremely correct and soft udder.  I have hand milked her and she had nice open orifices and is super easy to milk.  She is dairy and very feminine.

My mom owns Eveland Farm.  I am so proud of her goats....she had a fantastic crop of babies last Spring.  I was lucky enough to purchase this doeling from her.  Fancy's mother, Star, won her first Championship and Best Udder in Boise this last year.  She is a fabulous milker.  Mom brought some new lines in through this doeling's Sire: 'Guiness."  He is probably the most stylish Mini Nubian buck I've seen in the showring this year.  He is beautiful!  This cutie came to me already having earned her dry leg.

JMR Willow....5th Generation American

This is a doe I had the luck of buying from Patty at Jasper Mountain Ranch in Waitsburg, WA.  I am really excited about this addition.  I think I have her matched up with a buck that will compliment her nicely.  Plus, I can't wait to get this girl in the showring; I can really see the potential.  This doe adds substance, width, breed character, and capacity.  She is just a really nice total package doe.  Upon visiting Patty's farm; I was very impressed with her Great Grand-Sire:  Cornerstone Farm Napoleon.  He is fantastic in person.

Sonora, Thank you for all you have contributed to our herd.  You are one of two of our precious foundation girls.  All of your daughters and granddaughters have proven to be assets to our program.  You even raised your twins before your left this world on a scorching hot 2016 summer day.  You are buried on our place and we won't forget you ol' girl.
Echo Hill's Sweetie's Sonora--(4th Gen. American)

Picture
"Sonora" we bought as an aged bred doe.  She is a good mother and raised "Frosty" and "Chocolate", twin junior doelings featured on our Homepage.  Sonora comes from top quality lines and is a proven easy-keeping doe; even at the age of nine going on ten.  In the senior age division, she won Champion Mini Nubian Senior Doe and Best Udder at the Wine Country Classic 2013.  She has remained in my showstring for the 2015 season as a nine year old.  She still is doing well even winning a Reserve in Boise.  We are proud that she remains this competitive and correct in her advanced age. This fantastic doe has produced winning offspring for us every year!
