Echo Hill's Chocolate---(5th Generation American)

Picture
This is the other twin out of "Sonora" from Spring 2012; "Frosty's sister.  "Chocolate" is super friendly and she is one of my favorites.  She did very well for us at the Wine Country Classic summer 2013 and the online MDGA V-show.  She is super on the milkstand and is one of my heaviest milkers.

Bit O' Bliss GPR Lilac..."Lilac"  5th Generation American

I had no plans of buying this doeling when I traveled to Idaho to pick up "Angel" from Brenda.  However, this girl really caught my eye.  She is another Napoleon granddaughter, who I had the priveledge to see in person at Patty's place last summer.  He is really a nice buck.  Moonglow, her dam, was also on site and very striking.  This girl also adds some new lines for me too.  She is very pretty and will fit into the show string nicely.  Thank you Brenda!

W4's Natalie:---(5th Generation American)

Natalie is Loretta's daughter retained from last year.  We are super impressed with Loretta's milk production, so we wanted to keep incorporating her lines into our herd.

The first time I ever met Debbie and Eldon; I met Bunny too.  I took one look at her and thought she looked a whole lot like my "Sonora" doe.  Well, they are sisters!  I had the opportunity to purchase Bunny and will never regret it.  She is small, but mighty.  She is also one of my heaviest milkers.  Bunny is now quite old.  I had retired her as she is now completely blind.  Bunny had other ideas this Fall though and carried another kid to term and is happiest being a mommy.

Dam's Sire:  Loperrized MST Red Rock
Dam:  W4's Lil Lass
Dam's Dam:  SG GRande Ronde KHV Daenerys

"Silver" and her sister "Whisper" are quite the duo.  I retained them both out of my new lines.  Since these two hit the ground I've been jumping for joy.  This super feminine doe has caught my attention from day one.  I'm super proud of how she competed at WCC; winning two reserve jr. doe titles.  AND....being only a second gen.  She has the pedigree and phenotype to shine.

"Whisper" is a solid brown version of her sister.  I really appreciate the breed character, length, and style these two are showing as only second gen experimentals.  These two sisters exemplify what I am trying to produce in the mini Nubian breed.

I have never been able to keep a Chocolate daughter....so here she finally is!  Arnie and Chocolate always prove to be a good pairing.  Nadine is a well put-together doeling and was able to claim a reserve Champion title in the jr. doe division at WCC this year.

Eveland Farm's Hayzel's Zelda M
(Zelda is currently back home with my Mom.  Zelda decided she liked mom's choice of Bucks rather than my boys!  look for Zelda and her kids @  www.evelandfarm.com )

Sire's Sire:  VCH Green Gables Freedom's Winchester
Sire:  Golden Plains Maverick

Dam's Sire:  FMCH Echo Hill's Rio Bravo *B
Dam:  Dancing Goat Garden's Hay-zel Bee
           Dam's Dam:  Soaring Heart's Valerian

Zelda is extra special as she comes from my mom's herd.  Ever since mom brought Hay-Zel home.....I've been in love.  Hay-Zel is so hard to fault.  Her udder is gorgeous; her body composition is spot on, and she shows so much class and Nubian character.  She earned her finished Championship this summer.  (won every Sr. ring) all while dam-raising quads!  Mom still had to milk extra off her that the quads would not finish up!  She is amazing and kept her own condition well.  The quads were fast-growing and all symmetrical too....not one lagging behind.  On Zelda's top....Maverick is proving to be a fantastic sire with a grand pedigree all his own.  He is adding longer and more bell shape to his kids' ears.  I love the heads and ears he is throwing.

Dam's Sire:  River Dance Rabbit Trails
Dam:  W4's Eunice
             Dam's Dam:  Sand-Bur-Kids Polled Charice

If you ever came out to our place this last year....You would know "Sprout!"  She was the first to meet you out front.  She has been the most enjoyable bottle baby I have had to date.  She is a miracle baby for sure.  Her momma had a traumatic birthing of triplets where I assisted with three backwards positioned kids.  Sprout came out literally "dish-rag limp."  I stimulated her and attempted to get her to breathe.  No signs of life existed other than a faint heartbeat.  I could not get her to take a breath.  She did not offer to move.  Since her brother was coming....I tossed her in front of Eunice to distract mom from what I was doing in the rear.  I delivered the next kid...dead.  Soon.....I heard this faint cry.....I thought.....oh.....I'm hearing things.  Nope....Sprout was coming around!  She was super small and very very weak.  I took her in the house and warmed a towel and held her close to me.....stimulating her every so often.  My mom brought out a kitten bottle to feed her with since she was extremely frail.  Nope....not for Sprout...she wanted only a regular sized teat....and the rest is history.

W4's Loretta's Gift Lori Lynn 5th Generation American
***Blue eyed and Polled***

Picture
Loretta was one of my favorite goats EVER. She sadly had a stroke last winter of '19.  She went down, but still ate and drank.  Her quality of life was poor living and only crawling along in the barn.  However, before she was put to rest; she gave us twin girls.  Two precious gifts.  This one is a keeper.
